Event Assistant

Job Duty:

  • Assisting the events team with a high number of events

  • Accompanying the line manager to both internal and external events

  • Promoting events across all social media platforms

  • Supporting the line manager with logistical and administrative support

  • Assisting with creative decisions

  • Creating promotional materials for the events

  • Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, guest list management, showing guests to tables and taking coats

  • Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion

  • Ensuring all branded items for events arrive on time

  • Any other duty informed by the line manager​

Essential Requirements:

  • BA level of education

  • A confident user with all Microsoft software

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Fluent in English

Project Assistant

Job Description

We are an international service company based in central London. We are currently looking for project assistants who are willing to work with us in long-term and through the summer holiday in our newly launched exciting fashion programme.

Key Responsibility

Administration

  • Making, answering phone calls, writing and replying emails on a frequent basis.

  • Participating office meetings and discussion about the programme.

  • Scheduling and preparing for meetings and teleconferences.

  • Handling key ICT software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Maintaining database.

  • Preparing presentations and reports.​

Marketing and Promotion

  • Contacting designers and fashion boutiques to promote our fashion programme.

  • Conducting research into the various aspects of the fashion industry.

  • Creating or updating promotional materials.

  • Attending exhibitions.

  • Coordinating promotion via social media and newsletters.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent command of English.

  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Suite.

  • Strong communication & writing skills.

  • Ability to work in a team, interacting with team members, designers and senior executives.

Preferable skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of the social media landscape.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the fashion industry, particularly in women’s wear, textile and accessories.

  • Previous experience with event management.

  • Previous experience selling luxury products.

  • Previous experience in fashion design.
